Crying Egypt : A Bloodbath Massacre

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

In the name of Allah, The Most Compassionate and The Most Merciful.

14th August 2013 has been marked as one of the darkest day in Egypt History and the Muslim world. Today’s massacre had resulted on thousands of syuhada’ consists of harmless men, women and children. The Rabaa Al-Adawiya and al-Nahda square is now covered with blood of innocent lives that were only protecting their right. The right for defending their leader whom they had chosen democraticly; Dr. Mohammed Morsi. He was no evil man. He carried his duty steadfastly as the president, bringing Egypt to be a better country than the previous leader has ever did. But what is happening now? Egyptians are injuring and killing Egyptians using tear gas, bombs, continuous barrage of live fire and endless stream of bullet-riddled!

“In 12 days of fighting in Gaza, there were less dead than in six hours here.”
-The Independent

Dead bodies of the supporters of Egypt’s ousted President Mohammed Morsi are lying around here and there. Countless of the syuhada’ corpses are crammed in the prayer hall of Rabaa Al-Adawiya mosque; the same hall was being used to treat wounded protestors. Not to mention that the riot police backed by armoredvehicles, helicopters and bulldozers had burnt the Rabaa al-Adawiya hospital that was filled with hundreds of corpses and the injured.

Illogical! And these massive shedding of blood happens just because they have opposing view from the Egyption Defense Minister, General Abdel-Fattah El-Sissi who played the leading role in the ouster of President Mohammed Morsi, following large-scale protests against Morsi and his Islamist government. This is genocide. They literally vanishing their own people from their country.

Despite the bloodbath massacre, the supporters of President Mohammed Morsi are still standing strong. They are not giving up nor they are backing out. They are not in fear of death, as they only fear Allah the Al-Mighty. They are strong because they have the ultimate weapon in their heart, mind and soul; the Quran. The Quran has been their weapons in facing the dreadful streaming of bullet and they believe only Allah is sufficed as their Guardian and Protector.

“Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us).”
آل عمران : Surah Al ‘Imran (3:173)

No matter how strong and resilient they are, they are still our brothers and sisters in Islam. This is no longer a Muslim issue. This is a crime against humanity. Whatever colour your skin are, your ethnicity, your language and your dressing, this is a concern that all of us should be worried. But how can we help them? We are fragile and weak human beings! It was narrated by Ali ibn Abu Talib RA, the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: the dua’ (prayer) are the weapons for the mukminun, pillar for the deen and light for the sky and Earth.

We may be far away but we can always make prayer for them in our sujood. That is our secret weapon. Make dua’ to Allah to give our brothers and sisters the strength to endure the pain, to be able to get back on their feet after losingtheir beloved ones, their properties and most importantly, their freedom.

We stand firmly against El-Sisi’s massacres and against his dreadful attempt to abort the Egyptian Revolution. We believe that the escalating violence and unrest in Egypt cannot be stopped without the help from other countries.

Therefore, we urge the leaders around the world to work together to reduce the risk of further violence and we especially urge the government of Malaysia to make the first move. This may or will lead to diplomatic pressure towards El-Sisi and the West. Perhaps, just perhaps, that this might be the only way to reach a peaceful resolution to the standoff.
