Our leader have to state their stand on Israel openly
Alhamdulillah. This post has been taken down by Rudy at his FB. (I couldn’t trace it anymore). But the posting at Stand With Us (SWU) is still there.
I have seen the many comments and am very proud to see many of you here expressing our stand. Bravo. Bravo. Bravo. May Allah bless you all.
There is a limit to everything. Here Rudy has crossed the line to embarrass us as a nation on our justified legitimate policy stand on Israel. Israel is the oppressor here and not the stone throwing Palestinians (kids and women included). It is unfortunate that there are still some segment in our society who don’t know where the limits are and instead support Israel to condemn us. We need to prise their stand and establish this limit.
I have chosen to engage directly Rudy rather than at SWU wanting to know how he reacts.
I’m not sure what is the final comment there and actual final reason why it was withdrawn. My last comment was in late afternoon yesterday and wanted to follow up when I realise its been taken down.
Would appreciate if some of you who had engaged directly pen down your line of argument for us to share and assess. I have however approached it as a national sovereign right not to recognise terrorist state like Israel much like Israel does with the Palestinian. I have chosen to highlight not who is right or wrong in the historical account, but the current blatant human rights abuses at UNHRC by the Israelies. Have asked him to refer to reports produced by the eminent professor Richard Falk who was the UN special rapporteur. Falk is a Jew and professor emeritus on international law at Princeton university. As usual rudy’s rhetorics was the usual Palestine is the terrorist and it’s a fact that they have thousand years history claim. He has been there and who am I to argue. He is after all a very active Israel activist who serves the IDF. But I told him whatever he argues does not justify the utter human rights abuses. I’ve been to UNHRC to even attend Session with Richard Falk and heard first hand account of the issue.
It is encouraging to see how many Malaysians are vocal on this issue. This could and should be a news item to show how Malaysians in unison defend the nation but as usual they would like to highlight divisive rhetorics all the time to instill the siege mindset upon us. You guys must continue this and it doesn’t matter whether it’s in English or BM. Translation is already provided by FB sendiri.
Finally another lesson I learn is that it’s about time we ask our politicians on their Israel stand. There are quite a number of Malaysians who are extreme pro Israelis supporters with deep anti Islam hatred as seen in the GE 14/ GE Global group. As our leader, we must demand all of them to state their stand on Israel openly. It’s a legitimate request as seen in the western countries. I’m sure many would like to know this and not vote such leaders. Enough of this closeted Israel supporter. We want a clear unambiguous stand on this.
