JAG, GEI actually the more deserving parties for ‘menghina intelektual’ award

It is they who have the lowest of mentality and the greatest deficient of intellectual capabilities, who cannot differentiate between a man’s saying, and quotes from the hadeeth of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Shame on these women’s group for resorting to this despicable act that hurts many Muslims, women like me included by belittling the hadeeth of the Prophet Muhammad.

While I would understand where JAG comes from, for their lack of research analyses capabilities, it is shameful for this so called private university students GEI for not having the decency to do in – depth analysis on Islamic position in this matter.

The full hadeeth that was conveyed by the good Mufti Dato Harussani is available in books in libraries and even online. Get the full context, and compare its impact on women’s liberation and intimate partner violence in countries that have never heard of the hadeeth, to ours in Malaysia. You’ve just degraded the meaning of “mahasiswa” by resorting to this cheap public stunt, depending on votes for like minded readers to make your point and in the end perpetuating confusion through claims which are unfounded.

Do you know that:

Report by European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) revealed that 1 in 3 women in Europe is a victim of violence including domestic/intimate partner violence?

That 1 in 20 women has been raped there?

That in Malaysia, the latest statistic of women in 2014 Malaysian Demographic Profiles gave the figure of women between the age of 15-24 years as roughly 2.5 million?

3000 rape cases are reported per year so these translated into roughly 1-2 cases of rape in every 1000 women (and this does not include women from 25 years and above which will make the ratio even lower)?

Can you do the math of 1:20 women being rape in Europe versus that of about 2: 1000 in Malaysia (and this ratio include non-marital and marital rape)?

Do you even know that in US, The Huffington Post reported that the number of women who died due to intimate partner/husband crime almost doubled the numbers of American soldiers who died in the war of Iraq and Afghanistan?

These countries don’t have Muftis, they’ve never heard of the hadeeth, but they record higher, much higher domestic violence and marital rape cases. Have you ever compared “dear mahasiswa/i” ?

Thus, the award, to imply that Islam through the sayings of the Prophets a.s, as elaborated by Sahibussamahah Dato Harussani, had contributed to prevalence of domestic violence and rape is a claim full of slander, that demonstrates lazy attitudes of JAG and GEI that would rather cherry-pick on people who doesn’t conform to their feminists values rather than truly find the root causes of the problems, and on top of that carried out this ‘award’ through a system which was hardly “intellectual”…..

…and at the same time hope to solve it. You won’t be able to do so, when your diagnosis is wrong in the first place.

JAG, GEI…..you are Islamophobic, and you’re actually the more deserving parties for “menghina intellektual” award.
