WHILE we basked in condemning Jakim, the extremist left have been emboldened in bashing and belittling Islam. GE group which is the most racist and bigoted Malaysian group I’ve ever encountered, has anti Islam postings all over and on various occasions.
The latest being a posting by one of its admin expressing immense hate of Islam by shamelessly telling the whole world of his desire to kill our beloved prophet if he has the chance in the past. How much hatred can one have of Islam?
Another previous commentary called for all Muslims since zaman Nabi as child rapists. They know society at that time marry young (many biblical story on this and in fact Mary gave birth to Jesus circa 12/13 years old) but selectively and bigotedly chose to criticize our prophet and Islam only. Islam bashing has been on the rise with the extremist left but it’s not reported as an example by our media especially the English media. While any mistake by Muslims are blown over to set as an example of extreme action, none of the left gets published. Thus comment by one FB posting criticizing our gymnast Farah’s attire are sensationalized to misrepresent the muslims, but hatred comments like these are not? See also the issue of president of Isma calling certain segment as “pendatang”. This statement was immediately sensationalized to make other people angry and reports of sedition are made. In fact they encouraged sedition action be taken.
Mark me. If this is highlighted, I am sure the extreme left will always be defended as a right of dissent and freedom of speech. They can insult and ridicule whoever they like with impunity. The bar council has called for this in the past. So long as there’s no threat of physical violence you can insult as much as you can. See support of previous discarded NUCC drafted laws.
Enough of this. I have given all the admins to kick out this Previn from the group by 9am. Otherwise I will call on the admin as condoning and be responsible to account for this hate and bigotry.
The admins have been hypocrites. They have always allowed Islam bashing. But when Noor mohd who has comparative religion knowledge started to write on weaknesses of other religion, they called on him as bashing other religion even though he was civil/ academic. Immediately thereafter they cut him off from the group to prevent further posting. They then came out with no religion bashing rule konon. I watched how these games are played to see how long they can last and true enough after a couple of weeks they permit Islam bashing back.
Shameless Malaysians we have. These people must be set as an example in our society as intolerant, extremists and utterly bigotted. Let us also see how another segment of society (the extreme liberals) defend them and compare their zealousness in defending free speech with Dr Abdullah Zaik of Isma above.
